My Loyal Readers

I could hardly believe it when I saw that my last post was late April! I have an agreement with myself that, even if I am on an extended hiatus from writing in general, that I will at LEAST write one post per month on my blog.

I have used this blog for so long and put so much into it, that I don't think I could ever bear to take it down. I have thought about it several times, but have alwasy reached the same conclusion; it must stay. For nothing else than to know that my words are read by someone (or lots of someones) out there in the wide world. This was further confirmed as I read my last post comment from someone on a different continent...now that is rewarding!

One of the items on my bucket list was to eat all the marshmallows out of a bag of lucky charms. Two months ago this item became reality. Now that that is accomplished...one of my biggest dreams is to someday become a published author. Now, I know this will not happen as long as I keep myself on page 36, which I have been stuck on for the past 8 months or so, which will happen when one takes a break from writing. However, I do know that I have finished everything I have ever started in my life, and I'm not about to stop now.

So this is a thank you to all of my loyal readers. You are in part responsible for this blog, and for my finished book that is to be. It is for you the reader that I keep writing, as much as for myself.

auntof2ang, my loyal reader:
I have not paid as much attention to the media or the goings on in the world of late. I know that I should, but I needed a break as I was becoming even more cynical than usual. However, just off the top of my head, I think we could have been out of both countries a long time ago. We had a good mission. That mission is complete. I think I would have handled the transition differently, but then again that's just a sergeant talking, not a general.
At the moment I agree with the drawdown. Of course, the real guys and gals to ask are not the ones in congress or positions of authority, or guys writing in blogs. It is the ones on the ground in each country respectively. They truely know what's going on and could give a better eye view.
But I know you asked me. I think we will always have a base for operations and will always have troops in country. Aside from that, I believe we've accomplished both missions, and it's time to bring our troops home.

TY Zeke Since I do not have a viewpoint on the drawdown, I am interested in viewpoints of those whom I think are grass roots patriotic Americans and who I esteem to have some intelligence. Altho, it is noteworthy to me that after I read what u had to say, I read a prophetic word that said the soldiers are coming home and they will need jobs. Whoever hires the soldiers, God is gonna bless those businesses. Auntof2ang
